Started my day off with a bad phone call from Dad. I told him about the camp that I will be attending tmr & slowly we continued chatting over the phone about my brother, my brother's new girlfriend, Mum, and life. It continued on for about a good 15mins before the both of us got a little agitated and decided not to continue chatting by me saying, "Okay la, don't say so much. Not free now."

I was very hurt by his words & decisions.
I'm very hurt...

You know the feeling of losing someone so close to you? You know the feeling of not being to know how the person is doing even though both of you are in the same country? So near yet, so far away! You know the feeling of crying to bed every night and hoping the next day will be a better day? You know the feeling of seeing the tiredness in your parents' eyes? You know the feeling of hearing the breathing tone of your parents' whom are very tired after a long day at work?

Sigh..

I was talking to Desmond and Glenn this afternoon. I've learnt:

Don't let those laughing at you laugh for too long.
Don't let your loved ones wait for you, wait for too long.
You are who you think you are.

I'll be away to Team Building Challenge Camp with my partners for a good 3 days 2 nights. I will make it very worth it! & I'm very sure it will be a good one!

I want to have my high four-figured pay cheque this month!!
I want to go up on stage during next seminar to receive my award as a Regional Manager!!

Ultimately,

I WANT TO GIVE MY MUM A BETTER LIFE!

Fuck whatever judgements others have of me, my life and my family.
I'm gonna make them take back their words!

I was having a long chat with my partners about life.

I realized.. I'm feeling very guilty!
Guilty for not abling to:
- Support my parents whom are in their 50s, yet working so hard to sustain the family.
- Give my parents whatever they have been yearning for. (Holiday trips to Hong Kong, Paris & London, laid-back life, drive luxurious car (at least a BMW 3-Series), etc.)

Above all these, it only points down to one thing: I have yet returned my parents a favor!

I asked myself the past few hours, "How long more do my parents have to slaughter before they could retire safely?"
Give me 3 years! Just 3 years to change their lifestyle & my lifestyle! I WILL GIVE IN MY BEST!

As I was looking at my parents while they are fast asleep, all I could feel was tiredness. They are very tired! Tired of working! They need a break, really!

Mum & Dad, give me some time, but I won't let you wait for too long.
Sigh.. As I'm typing this, I'm tearing. I feel useless.

People of my age have been asking me why am I so desperate about money.
I just have an answer to them:

I'm afraid my parents can't wait for too long!

I'm up exceptionally early today, because I have an interview at SMU at 2pm. I'm feeling very nervous! Gosh, it's been a long while since I went for such a thing! I hope that I will pull through this and get into the school! Guess what? It's because I don't wanna enter NTU! The course that i'm posted to isn't what I wanted.

I hope I will go through the interview later on smoothly! All the best to me! :D

Hello World!

This space here is growing spider webs already! My bad. I'm back in this technology world once again. Will update whenever I have the time, because i'm always home only by 3am or even later! Scary shit! Hahaha.

The past few weeks/months have been fruitful (if you get what i mean!). Teeheehee! From the previous entry, i'm glad that most of it can be strike off!

1. Sign up for uni
I've gotten a phone call & email from SMU. I'm shortlisted for an interview on the 20th, which is next monday! Chester, Sam & Melissa gave me a few pointers which will help during the interview. I hope i will do well for it!

2. Pass my TP
I have obtained my Class 3 license on the 14th of Feb (V DAY!). Greatest gift! I can't wait for the next step in life! My red baby, i'm working hard to get you back home with me!

3. Interview
Argh, economy crisis! Stupidest shit!

4. Pursue my goals by April
YAY!!! Happiest month! :D

I have been spending a lot of time catching up with old friends. I am very happy for all of them! Some are in the uni already, some are working, some have businesses of their own, some are just relaxing and some are missing from my life! I miss everyone that I have been close to! Guess that my priorities in life have been ranked properly that I neglected too much of the outside world. Nevertheless, it's all worth the hard work at the end of the day! I can see a light at the end of this tunnel. I will continue on and move on! In life, it's all about moving on and on and on... And never give up! :)

I'm gonna rest for awhile before I drive over to Bishan to have a morning jog and back home to continue with my beauty sleep. Nights!

I'm having a mixed feeling now. Today is the last day of attachment at SCS @ Synergy. Should I be happy or should I be whatever, I really don't know. The past few weeks haven't been good. I spent most of my free time pondering over what I should not be thinking of. For a reason or another, I screwed everything up in the end. Urgh, super angry with myself! For now, I NEED to do a couple of things.

1. Sign up for Uni
2. Pass my TP tmr (This would be the best V Day gift ever!)
3. Interview on Monday (Hope it will go smoothly.)
4. Pursue my goals by April!

When these are all NEEDS, I cannot look back. I NEED to make them all come true!

Alright, I've got to finish as much of my report as I could before I make my way to Bedok HQ to surrender everything and go for the exit clearance. :)

Life's unpredictable, like we always like to say. Since we know that life is so unpredictable, why not we do something about it than just whining and continue whining when something bad happens and start to live in regrets? Humans are just stubborn, I would say. Like Andrew's MSN nick, "When there is an opportunity out there, would you grab hold of it?" Something like this which is trying to convey the similar message across. For me, I will grab hold of the opportunity and go for it, meanwhile having the chance to continue pursuing my dreams. Everyone of us are just waiting for an opportunity to come along the way... Why not head out to look for one rather than waiting endlessly for it? And when it really comes your way, why forgo it? At the end of the day, choices are in your hands, and life is full of choices.

To set you thinking, I have thought of this question - What actually you want in life?

I don't know why this sudden change in me to have deep thoughts of life. Lately, I have been indulging in deep thoughts. Every time when I do a self-reflection alone in my room, I will have a question on mind, which is "What I want in life?" Like many naive girls out there, I dream of having a big car (at least a 3-Series), big house (a Condo of my own that has a good view, just like the one at Sentosa Cove), a good, caring, sincere and devoted hubby and adorable babies.

Visualising the lifestyle I will be living in when all these come true. Hmmmmm...

On a lighter note, IPP is ending in 2 weeks' time, 13th Feb. I'm glad it's gonna be over pretty soon. No more early mornings. ( as early as 6am!) No more morning train rides from Ang Mo Kio all the way to Jurong East. No more long walks from Jurong East MRT Station to International Business Park. No more looking at zombies walking into the office early in the morning. (I realized IT people are as good as zombies.) No more lonely lunch breaks in the office. No more sticking my butt onto the uncomfortable office chair.

On a happier note, my life will resume pretty soon. I will be able to have more sleep till I feel like waking up. I will have more time to commit to pursue my dreams. I will have more time to catch up with my dear friends. I will have more time for myself & family. I will have more time to be under the sun for a good tanning session. (I'm very fair now. I don't like!) I will have the life I want it to be, eventually. Can you sense the excitement in me?! TEEHEEHEEHEEHEE!

Life has been good, I would say. I have been going through quite a bit these few months after I came back from Beijing. Everything happens for a reason & they are all blessing in disguise. I see many people from all walks of life succeeding in life. I see many people going on to the next phase of their life. I see how fragile life can be. To sum it all up, I NEED TO make 2009 a better year for me & my family. I NEED TO prove everyone wrong. I NEED TO make my dreams all come true!

I don't know where to start updating from, thus this very general updates to sum all of them up. Nonetheless, I can still remember a few events that happen not too long ago...

On the eve of Chinese New Year, 10 of us booked a room at Fragrance Hotel to just chill out to have some booze and a game of BlackJack! Imagine my reputation was destroyed. I went up to the receptionist to ask for a room, together with Glenn and Gabriel. Gosh! Then the rest quietly sneak up to the hotel while we kinda distracted the receptionist. Hahaha.

A game of mahjong over at Con's place. Share the game with Ben. And I'm terribly sorry.. I made a mistake and have to pay a penalty charge of 10bucks to every player. We went bankrupt at the end of the game! Total damage of 100bucks! :(
(I realized I can't gamble! I always lose money. Urgh!)

CNY gathering over at Kah Hwee's place last Saturday. All my girlfriends were there - Huiling, Kejia, Shuling & Janelle. It all turned out fine! Steamboat, Left 4 Dead and BlackJack! Wonderful night :)

Just last night, Zai came over to pick me up after my appointment. Marina Square for Hong Kong Cafe along with a few others. Jian was there.. And I saw the sorrows in his eyes. I could feel how much pain he is going through in life due to a faield relationship, but life still goes on. There wasn't much I could say to comfort him, just a few words like "smile leh" & "don't like that la". Hopefully the next time I see him, he will be smiling away and gotten back on track with life. :)

I was reading The New Paper earlier on and I came across this:

A few weeks ago, I went fishing with Jewelry, Jade, Eeling, Victoria, Guang Yun and Han Leng.
It was a good experience!
My first time fishing, in fact. Hahaha!

Met at Harbour Front.
Han Leng & Victoria drove us to Labrador Park.
While those who knows how to fish were setting up the stuffs,
the rest of us were busy making ourselves sandwiches.

Our luck wasn't with us.
After 2 hours or so, we decided to head to Marina South to continue fishing.
Finally, Jewelry caught the first fish.
Apparently, that was the first and the last fish of the day. HAHAHA. So proud of her!

Dinner at Aljunied.
Headed to Bishan and wanted to go prawning, but it was too crowded.
(Bumped into Kent! Good to see him again. :))
Went to Han Leng's place for PS3 before he send us home. (Thankyou, Mr Tan!)

Merry Merry Christmas!

It was a day of giving and sharing.
I had fun & felt very much loved on this special day. I hope everyone did feel the same way too.

Over the weekends, I baked a whole lot of cookies for colleagues at SCS and those pretty friends.
In return, I got many pretty stuffs too:
Dove chocolates from Debra (the admin staff),
Chocolate from Amy,
Cupcake-momma cupcake from Irene,
Sweets & Biscuits from Shanghai from Norman, and
Breadou Loaf Cushion from Derek (my OIC).

On the eve of Christmas, work was only till 1pm.
Headed to town right after to meet up with Huiling for lunch and shopping at Carrefour @ PS.
We got a lot of food:
Black pepper & Honey Chicken which we waited for almost an hour,
Cheese sausages,
Sushi,
Tidbits,
Sparkling juice (because we can't find Champagne at Carrefour, HAHAHA),
Pizza from Sarpino(from Kah Hwee), and
Log Cake from Marriott Hotel (from Matthew).

Everyone of us were hyped up for 12am on the eve!
Hurried home from town to get changed into comfy clothes and get all the presents before we head over to JunJie's place.
His mom is really nice that she headed out knowing that we will be heading over to get food for us and did some cooking for the 5 of us. Friendly mum! :D

The fun started upon Matthew's arrival and after we had our late dinner.
This is the event flow:
Dinner,
Gift exchange,
Out along the road for crazy ribbons/bomb bags/sparklers/popping of sparkling juice,
Back into the house for Log Cake (singing along ),
Indian Poker,
Uno,
Drink like mad,
Got drained out,
Falling asleep,
Got drawn on the arm
(Matthew got snowman and pedicure done on his arms/feets/toe nails,
and I got an outline of a butterfly on my arm,
because they wanna match something to my fairy! Hahaha), and
JunJie fell asleep in the toilet for almost 2hours.

On the Christmas Day itself:
Woke up at 4pm,
Lunch prepared by JJ's mum,
Dai-Dee game with the remaining drinks, and
BBQ dinner prepared for us by JJ's mum.

While the rest headed home, I headed to meet up Eric&Co. Went home to get changed and headed to ECP for bowling.

I had fun with the peeps, especially with Lovely Huiling. Have been neglecting her quite a bit due to the workload I have on hand. However, glad that the day came and past by as planned. :) Came across many pretty faces - Precilla, Eunice, Gabriel, Alvin, Mango, Keith, Si Jie, Dominic, etc.

On the other hand, I can't deny that the music wasn't as good as last year's. Heard that many famous DJs weren't spinning that night. I hope there will still be ZoukOut'09! Teeheehee! :D

I received a reply from my sweetheart regarding an issue after waiting impatiently for a day after I emailed her. Indeed, I was relieved! I'm grateful to have met you during this journey in life... I'll cherish you!

I'm thankful for how supportive are my parents when I shared with them about my dreams & goals in life within the next few years. I believe with them around, nothing will go wrong!

THREE
Thank God for sending pretty people to me! I've been getting a bigger picture of how wonderful life can be. Without these people, I would not know which direction should I go and definitely, I wouldn't know where will I be now.

On the other hand, it was rather demoralizing when I failed my test yesterday. Yes, my driving test, yet again. It was my second attempt, but of course way better than my first attempt. Perhaps my third attempt will be a charm! I won't give up!

I'm feeling really bored now at work. There's nothing for me to work on, other than reading those super lengthy documentations. :( To add to this really boring department, I heard that from next week onwards, I will have to work OT! I don't know how much more are they going to pay me. I reckon it will be a lot. Worse of all, maybe I will just have my OT hours converted to Time-Off! You can kill me if they are gonna do that to me. An intern like me is already under-paid! :(

On a lighter note, I can't wait to go into the workforce society and face those upcoming challanges. I believe - Time = Effort, & we will be able to show results when time & effort is being put together. I will have my dream list up... I will achieve them one at a time.

While typing this entry, I have already put a few pieces of Deloba biscuit into my mouth. MY BAD!

So far so good! :) Attachment has been all right with the peeps around. Took the shelter bus to IMM for lunch and goodies shopping! We should do this more often to kill time. Haha! Even the train ride from home to work every morning seems good! Rusyda will board the train from Bishan, I will board from Ang Mo Kio and Yi Si at Admiralty. Aida & Raymond will meet us at Jurong East. And every morning chats with Rusyda makes my day! She will laugh along with me. Thanks, sweets! :)

Guess what? Yesterday, I didn't had any Monday blues! Time passed by so fast that before we know, it was time to pack up and leave the office. I want everyday to be like that! But today is exceptional! I finished what was given to me before lunch time, thus I had the rest of the time to just read up some documentations. Being me, I utilise my time well - I came to update this little space! Hahaha.

I will wrap up everything in Beijing!

Sports Champ @ NYP on 22nd Nov
After all the good food in Beijing, I feel really fat. When I was running, I could feel that my tummy is really flabby. I must burn away all the winter fatsssss! Anyhow, the Captains Ball match was good! We (MD2) got into the Top 3, but couldn't continue due to the rain. It was postponed to the following weekend, but many of us couldn't make it due to work/commitments, thus our team just walk over. However, it isn't about the prize! It's the journey.. While we were having the match, it was all laughters and joy! It was really good! :)

I have safely returned back to the green homeland, Singapore last Thursday. It has been really nice to see the familiar faces at the airport after so long. Especially when I had Huiling & Kejia to make the effort to the airport to pick me up and accompanied me for dinner. And thanks to Huiling to lend me a helping hand to accompany me back home, and carry those heavy bags into the house, because dad was at work, mum was busy, and brother was at a wedding dinner. 28kg worth of stuffs from Beijing! Luckily we weren't charged for any overload of luggages!

And there are a few more folders of pictures taken during the last few outings in Beijing that I have yet to upload, as well as the outings I had after I returned. Especially that fun night with the LG peeps! You lovelies know how much I have missed you all yeah?! :D

I will post all the pictures here over the weekends. Firstly because I don't have the cable with me now. Secondly, I'm in the office now! Attachment yo!

Today is the fifth day of attachment at SCS. It has been pretty well, though I am/was kinda sad that I have been deployed to the different branch from those fun people like:

guangyun (you the joker! now, i hope you can put that smile on my face every morning when the monday blues are here.),

The people here aren't as bad as I thought they will be. For the first two days, they asked us along for lunch. Third day onwards, the four of us went ahead with ourselves, because there were no invites anymore. HAHAHA, I wonder why though. Was it something like a orientation kinda thingy? Hahaha!

Wells, apart from all these, I have made a decision in life. A decision that I hope it will work out for me as planned. The dreams I wrote down on that piece of paper seems ambitious, but I believe it will work out! I believe it will come true! I believe it will turn my life around, in a positive way. Slowly, I will be striking each of the task off the list upon achieving it! Give me your support throughout this tough period! :)

I'm totally worn out! I keep dozing off while working on the tasks allocated. I hope noone catch me sleeping. Hahaha! I'm gonna run now, and get some work done! Before I leave, thank God it's Friday!!! The weekends are here. I need to catch up on my sleep and do some catching up with my family members. Everyone has been busy with work & life that we have been neglecting each other very much. :(

Happy Singles' Day!

Did any of you heard of this occasion before? I heard about this through Jewelry and a student over here, Li Xin. And guess what? We were bored during lab hours, and Guangyun decided to become a DJ! We dedicated songs with messages to each other by messaging him on msn! Hahaha. If he doesn't have the song, we need to just send it over to him. Hahaha! Sweet Jewelry dedicated "My Everything" to me! :) Thanks, girl!

On a lighter note, we went ice-skating just now!

The week is ending pretty soon. On Monday, I experienced another round of gastric pain. It was worse than the previous time. I was having dinner at a restaurant with the rest, as well as Miss Belinda Chua. She came over to take over Miss Huang. Miss Huang will be returning back to Singapore on the 1st of Nov. Halfway through my dinner, I couldn't continue anymore. Tried to vomit in the toilet, but couldn't. Had a long walk from the restaurant back to school after dinner. Applied some oil on my stomach and went to bed at 10pm. Woke up in the middle of the night and rushed into the toilet and threw out everything I had for dinner. Guanyun, Eeling and Jewelry hurried me to the 24hours clinic in school and poor Kenneth had to clear my toilet for me. Thanks, Kenneth! :) And I think I scare Victoria! :( Sorry, and thank you for taking care of me! :)

We got no choice but to wake her up from her sleep. She said my stomach is filled with air and some food can't be digested properly. These few days, i'm not allowed to have big pieces of food and oily food. But you know being Clara, I will just have my meals normally. Hahaha!

The next day, I rested on bed instead of reporting to the lab. Until the rest called, I quickly went to prepare and went to the lab for a photo taking session and preparation for the event in the afternoon. Dr John Tan has came over to visit us.

And in the evening, some of the BiTC friends and us went for dinner at a nearby restaurant as a celebration for the end of the event and our hard work being paid off! :)

And yesterday, we bladed in school! we bought a pair of roller-blade each! I'll update with pictures. :)

I seem to have a lot of problems with my stomach and appetite.
Just right after dinner, I went into the toilet and let out everything.
Very bad digestive system!
Or maybe my stomach still can't take the food here.
It's either too salty or oily or tasteless. It's always the extremes! Hahaha.

I'm gonna wash up and go to bed.
The bed here is really comfy! I will sleep till I'm running out of time, then I will force myself outta bed and into the bathroom.
Even when Victoria wakes me up, I will still say like
"Okay.. Okay.." And keep okay-ing! HAHAHA.

I just gave Mom a call back in Singapore.

Unfortunately, my condition is still in the recovery state. I still do have stomach upset every day. I don't eat in school's canteen anymore. I only have light lunch. Classmates have been nice to accompany me to the bakery shop & supermarket opposite school to get bread and stuffs so that I won't have gastric pain.

I was told that if I don't recover by tmr, I won't be allowed to go out for sight-seeing with the rest. Victoria (my room-mate) is also down with sore throat. Poor girl! I think I kinda pass my sickness to her, because she was with me everyday, in the lab and room. Argh! We gonna fight all the bacteria away tonight! I don't wanna be left in the hostel. :(

There were many activites lined up before I left, therefore the lack of updates.

I had a good dinner with my classmates at Marina Square @ 店小二. 10 of us and the 10 delux 10 course meal. It was good! And thank you'al for taking the time & effort to plan everything! :)

After which, I headed to town to meet up with Huiling, Junjie and Damien(their classmates). Walked all the way to Timbre but it was full house. Took a cab to Clarke Quay; Mama Carribean! Chilled out & walked around.. Iguana, then Kani Bar, then supper @ Boat Quay.

It was good, as always.. Right people, right crowd! :)

Azmi was enlisted to serve his National Service. The day before, the 4 of us met up for dinner. We know he will complain about his hairstyle, so sweet friends like us bought him a cap he has been eyeing for! :)

During the flight from Singapore to HongKong, I experienced the first gastric pain. It was so painful that I cried and cuddled myself up. Air stewardess attended to me, gave me medication and wrote a report. The matter became very serious that the officer announced through the mic to ask if there's any doctor and made a call to the HongKong Airport to ask for ambulance to get ready. I know I just needed more rest.. So after having the lunch provided on the plane, I took the medicine and rested for 2 hours. The pain subsided and then I was free to go and have to sign a form to declare that I did declined to be sent to the hospital.

I was worried! Very very worried. :(

Upon reaching the school at around 10pm, we got up to our room to leave my luggage. We were provided with supper, but not to my appetite. I only had the egg. It was hard and tasteless. :(

Before FYP started on Monday, I was working at the Comex fair at Suntec from Thursday to Saturday. And on Sunday, I had Zen to replace me so that I can go for the Human Race.

4 years ago, I went to pay you a visit on every Wednesdays at an unpleasant place.
This Monday, I have to go to another unpleasant place to visit you.
I foresee that I will cry, like how I did, once the time frame of 30mins for the visiting session is up.

I hope this will not affect me too much,
because exams are just next week.

I'm back for a mega update on the past few days! More visuals than words. :)

And so, the nightmare was over - Entrepreneurship & EAIPJ presentation.
Though they were all rather screwed up, but at least they are all over.
I think I'm gonna achieve a very low GPA this semester. :( Bless me, baby.

On the day of Entrepreneurship Day itself (2nd August), I woke up at 6am and to be in school by 8am.

It made me think not once, but twice about life.

I was chatting with Mom this afternoon, about marriage & responsibilities.
The list of responsibilities I have to cope with in time to come really scares me off.
From being a filial daughter, to being in the workforce, and to the role as a Mother.
This is life and we have to fulfill them.

I went for a jog just now along the canal.
It was a good 4km run!
Went over to Yani's place with Ruz to chill for awhile.
And I came back home having all the things I need to settle before I hit the sacks.
That is to do a self-reflection!

I have been taking almost everything around for granted.
It has worsen me as a human being a lot!
I have never been this way in life, and I don't want this to continue within me.
The school semester is ending soon, before I realized.

The weekends have ended. Yet another busy week coming along, and this will be the last week till we bid goodbye to all the projects! I'm looking forward to the 4th of August - Final presentation for EAIPJ!

Alright, from the above visuals, you can tell that I had a good dinner with my family. It was kind of a farewell dinner for Uncle John before he leave for an assignment in the Middle East. Anyways, he left this evening! All the best, Uncle! :)

I got to see Xin Pei, my cute little cousin. She's only primary 4, and very well knowledgeable! She takes up yoga classes at True Yoga and listens to all the pop songs. She even asked,"Clara jie jie, you got the Rihanna song - Take A Bow ah?" I was rather surprised! Hahaha. Because when I was her age, I only listen to Mariah Carey, Westlife or Backstreet Boys. Wahahaha!

After dinner, I met up with Andrew and some of his camp-mates to just chill around Toa Payoh/Raffles Place/Thomson Prata House/Yishun Dam. Good to just relax myself a little, but not too much, yes? The next day, though I weren't working, neither was Andrew, we went down to Tampines Mall Starhub to wait for Ettrick to end work. I could have just work, and stand there chit-chatting till work ends. Caught up with the other promoters as well! I miss work! Just too caught up with school that I can't squeeze out a slot for work. Should I take up the job for Comex IT fair that's gonna happen fromm 28th - 31st of August? Or.. Just enjoy myself before FYP starts?

Back on track! After Ettrick knock off, we went to Lower Pierce Reservior to do something stupid. I almost peeped on my shorts! They brought me to walk this whole stratch of road deep inside the forest. Oh gosh! Can't imagine I went through that path safely. Phewwwww!

Then we went to Alexandra Arch Bridge to explore that beautiful place. It's near Harbour Front and where the cable car dinner is, i guess.

I searched on the net & found a few pictures! (We were too engross in going "Wah.. This place is really nice ah?" "Can come here & chill next time." Kept wah-ing!)

I have been distracted!

I have to do some research online. The first thing once my laptop has start up, I would sign onto MSN. I would check my mail too! Go online for a little shopping spree, then since I'm blog hopping, I would go to other girls' blogs and just read whatever they have there. Feeling envious of them as well - How lovely their life is! By the time, my eyes are a little tired. I would give myself some excuses that I should rest my eyes.. So I would just hit the sacks.

Till the end of the day, nothing has been achieved! Very bad. See what Internet has done to us?

Okaye, maybe this is only happening to me. I should blame myself for being so easily distracted, yes? Okaye.. I know what to do now. I won't be signing onto MSN even though I'm dead bored. I would only be on MSN if there's any discussion going on for any of my assignments.

After all the drinks and games, we went up to the room at Siloso Beach Resort. I love that place! It's very laxing and beautiful! It made me feel like I was in some beach resort at Batam/Bintan/Tioman. I wanna go back there again! :)

This weekend is coming to an end in about 4 hours time. To sum it all up, it was a fruitful one! Thanks to the people around me giving me the motivation to carry on with what I'm supposed to be doing. Especially Bing Xi and Wei Shan! They knew that I'm stressed out with the projects and life, but never fail to put back the smile on my face. Thank you people a million times!

On Saturday and Sunday, Bing Xi and Wei Shan were over at my place from 11am to about 7pm for both the days, working on EAIPJ and Entreprenuership assignment. It was really tough trying to struggle so many projects within such a short time frame. Glad that there was a slight progress after each day. This will be over soon! :) 4 more weeks!!!

I love days like that. Keeping myself busy the whole day! Feeling drained out at the end of the day, that I just fell asleep unknowingly on my bed.

Last night after BX and WS left, Ruz came over to fetch me. Went for a jog at Bishan. I finish the 3km run without any pause inbetween, and I have been doing this for the past weeks. I will be jogging at least once a week! I will keep to this plan. Met Nigel aftermath, because these two guys wanna play some inter-challange game on their PSP. Prata house and home.

Oh ya, I managed to watch the NDP preview air show from my place. The hearts drawn in the sky is wonderful!

The 4 days at CommunicAsia 2008 was a good experience to gain from. I made friends from all over the world, especially Koreans who are from LG headquarter. They are all friendly! Even the MCs there are friendly, accompanying us for lunch break and tell us about how they first started out their own company. I dream to be one of these entrepreneurs in future!

It has been many many days since I have come into here. I will update you with all the pictures I have uploaded!

Even on the last day of the IT Fair @ Suntec Convention Hall, we gathered at Suntec before heading down to town for supper at Cine's Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. I headed home right after that because I still got to work the following day for CommunicAsia (Which I will blog about in the next entry. Too tired to so now!)

And the pictures below are taken during the launching of the new LG phone - LG Secret KU750.
4 of us were selected to work for this event, and before that we were all working at CommunicAsia. Right after work at CommunicAsia, we took a cab down to Labrador Park for this event.

The MC for that night was Jamie Yeo! She's friendly, and nice. Though there were some last minute changes during the event, she was all fine with it and carried out the revised plan. Because if it were to be other MC, they will nag & prompt question like "HUH?! Then what you want me to do now?"

The event ended only at about 10pm. Waited for the place to be cleaned up, while waiting for Roger & Pek Fong to go for supper at the prata house near NUS that is always filled with NUS people. (I forgot the name of the store! Foo Seng or something.) Chatted till 2-ish, and Roger sent the both of us home. Nice manager! :)

During the past 2 weeks of term break, I have been working almost everyday, and I was totally worn out after the last day of work at CommunicAsia. Wells, good way to earn some cash while I can. 'Cos I don't think I can work as often during the next few weeks, due to assignments submission!

My brother just picked me up from Alvin's place, where Gab, Pek Fong & her boyfriend - Nicholas were having 2 rounds of mahjong games. And I lose to Alvin!

As you can see from the above pictures, there were Gabriel, Alvin, Sharifa and myself at Timbre on a Wednesday night. Before that, I met Gab in town for lunch and a little shopping in town, before the rest came to join us. That night was filled with both happiness & sorrows. Thank God, I controlled myself throughout the night, and managed to not get wasted. And thank God that I'm still determined to fight this war.

I'm working at the IT Show at Suntec City. Standing for almost 12hours a day isn't a joke. Seriously no joke!! My foot are aching very badly. :(

But but but, I will be determined to do a little work every night after work (which i'm gonna do later after this entry). On the other hand, I love working at such a big event as I get to see many many friends around. :)

I've read Beatrice's blog and am sorry to hear about her polymate's death.

It's true how life is so unpredictable that we might not be able to do what we planned to do the next day. We know this, but sometimes, we would take someone for granted that we didn't put ourselves into others' positions. I hope everyone will make an effort to cherish people around them! No doubt, i'm cherishing everyone around me! The world is too small to have enemies around you.

The weekends' have never seem to be so wonderful & fruitful. I love life this way!

Finally, on Friday, I went back to the office to collect my pay. (Hopefully the rest of my pay will come in as soon as possible, as I'm very broke! I still have to get a phone, as I misplaced my phone a few weeks ago, and have been using the company's phone. I hope they won't ask for it so soon!) Then, rushed for driving lesson!

Took a train after driving to have dinner with Bing Xi, Soon Wee & Dao Li at Toa Payoh. Wanted to go back to the Bubble Tea shop, but Bing Xi have a phobia of it, due to bad dining experience. Settled down on MOS Burger. Shopped around a little before getting home. Oh yah, the LogiTech Webcam&Mic Bing Xi helped me to get from Beijing isn't that bad. Very small (which suits my laptop) and it has focus function. The best thing is, it costs SGD$20! SHIOK!!! Where to find such a good buy?! :D

To end off the night, I caught Sex And The City at Balestier Complex. It's above my expectation! Very girly gossips! I likeeeeeeeeeeee. :)I finally got a pair of blades of my own yesterday! Quite a good bargain! The price was $449. Due to the sales going on, it costs $225. Bargained, and got it for $215!

At first, I don't really like the color, and was contemplating if I should just get it. I was thinking of getting a red/white/black one! Got it as it was a really good buy and the color isn't that bad after all. (I will make myself love it, eventually! Hahaha.)

Had dinner at the hawker at ECP, then started blading from 10pm to 12am! The wheels on my blade is really too fast, that I fell on landed on my butt (like, AGAIN!). The wheels are freaking 90mm! I have a phobia of slopes & humps! I better escape from those obstacles the next time.

Thankfully, I've got a little knowledge of blading from the peeps! :)

I'm going to start studying for Entrepreneurship paper, which is tmr! (2 more to gooooooo...)

This weekend came and past by so quickly that I have yet to finish what I have got to. I always have poor time management! Apart from all the troubles that have been bothering me, I met up with my mates for a good dinner last night and catching up with BingXi about his Beijing project trip (BiTC). I somehow regretted not going. If not for the overseas attachment I might be going, I would have gone for BiTC.

It was a random message to Beatrice on MSN telling her that I've lost my phone. Chatted awhile, and decided to meet up for lunch. She got the car with her that day! Her sister came along as well. Came over to pick me up, and went to Tao Payoh for lunch at the Bubble Tea Cafe.

Was thinking where Bea, Rach and I can go, and settled on Icekimo at Thomson! Wanted to let them try the Holicks Ice-cream. I think they have changed the combination of ice-cream for the fondue set. There weren't any Holicks ice-cream cubes, but only chocolate and vanilla. I still love their Holicks! :D

No good timing for movie that night! Walked into the arcade at AMK Hub, and snapped a few shots in the Neoprint machine! (HAHA! Budget!!)

Lately, I have been visiting a few random places. One of which was East Coast Park in the night, to try out the Hong Kong Cafe over there. And with drinks to go along during a long chat along the beach. :)

I caught Iron Man too! It's awesome! I was so amazed by the technologies used. The first part was a little boring. The middle part is the climax! I heard from some friends that you have to wait till the credits end.. There will be a part where they show some preview for Iron Man 2! However, I don't know if it's true. (They were laughing while saying this. How to believe? Hahaha.) If you're going to catch it, try waiting.. Hahaha.

Catch What Happens In Vegas too! Hilarious!!

Also, Dempsey Hill. Went to Oosh for red wine. They have nice ambience. I will go back there sometime soon. :)

Last weekend's deployment venue is the best! I was allowed to choose between Tampines or Vivo City Starhub. I found out a day before that Rene was going to Sony Ericsson Concept Store which is a few shops away from Starhub. I was so excited!! We met in the morning and took a train together. Along the way, we met Yuqi! Then.. when we reach Vivo, I found out Poh Suan is at LG Concept Store. Many more people along the way joined...

My dad found 3 thumbdrives at his workplace 2 months ago. He brought them back the other day and asked if I could use them. Immediately, I browsed through the files, and found out that there are actually many important documents in them, like resumes, accounts, and etc. Through his resumes, I saw his contact number. Gave him a call.. and arranged for a meet up this weekend at my deployment venue.

I did a good deed! :)

Many say it isn't pay to be kind. However, I believe in karma! If I were to lose anything, I hope the person will kindly return it to me. Then again, what is the possibility that this will ever happen?

Weekends' been good!

I was working with Summer at Vivo City. Time past by rather fast! Before we realized, it was 7pm. Another 2 hours before we knock off! Today was kinda different. I had Sandral (together with her friend, Fabian.) accompanying me for dinner. She even waited till I finish work. Shopped around Daiso (i always love that place!) and chilled at Starbucks. Heart-to-heart chat with her was good. Then, I realized how much I have lost during this period of time.

On the second day, Rene joined Azmi, Ruz and I for a movie at J8. Superhero Movie! Sadly, Singapore cut a long part in the middle due to religious issue. Thus, the show only lasted for an hour! :( I suggest that you'al buy the p****** (hahaha) DVD, so that you will be able to watch the un-cut version. Overall, it's gooood! 3.5 outta 5 popcorns!

Hello! :)

I have my friends complaining that I don't update as regularly anymore, and there's lack of pictures. I'm sorry... I have been busy with school and work. There's school from Monday to Friday, and it always end in the evening time, at 5pm or 6pm. I feel tired after the long day in school, and would return home for a short nap before completing some work. Work during the weekends is usually tiring! What's new for sales job?! Standing for almost 10hours straight! Wells, money is hard to earn!

I had a lot of fun today! :D
Stayed over at Yani's place last night. Before that, I was at Simpang Bedok with Maman, Azmi and Ruz. Had supper, and caught the first half of Liverpool VS Chelsea match. Then, we head over to Yani's place to catch the second half! Up till full time, it was an exciting match. Many predicted that Liverpool will win, so that he will be in the finals with Manchester United. Unfortunately, the luck was with Chelsea last night! I'm looking forward to the finals on the 22nd! Sorry, back on track.. I knock out during the extra time. That Teacher Yani was so noisy early in the morning, trying hard to wake me up, but I refused to. Slept till my handphone alarm rang. (Haha!) Bathed and got ready to take a bus to ECP.

I love Fridayssss. Lessons only start from 3pm to 6pm. I get to go for a swim/tan before heading to school. :D This week, I had a swim & tan at YCK's pool with Elvina & Bernard. The sun was good! Was a little late for tutorial, but the nice tutor still mark me present.

Japanese dinner at Liang Court and Kandi Bar with the guys & Wei Shan (bingxi, you missed out the fun! hahaha) after school!

The day before, I met KeJia & Shuling at Hougang after school. Chilled at Gelare (Their pasta is horrible!) and walked around Hougang Mall, before we went separate ways.

Roadshow at J8 on today and tmr.
Lunch & dinner with Rene was awesome! Talk crap all the way.
Azmi & Ruz drop by for dinner as well. :)

It was Wayne's birthday celebration 2 weeks ago at MOS, on a Saturday (12th April). It was a mistake to have gone, anyways. As usual, I puked like a mad woman at Liang Court's McDonalds. Thanks to Desmond for getting the plastic bag and Jason for getting that cup of warm water. Thank you, Sandral, for being with me the whole night too.

And then, school started on the 14th. It was good to be back in school, with all the lovely faces I will be seeing everyday in school and laughter we shared among us. Apart from all these, it was good to keep myself busy for this period of time. I wanna get real busy.. for once, i'm praying for this.

Chilled at Grapevine on both 17th & 18th, with Huling & Jason and Shuling, Zac & friends respectively. I couldn't stand it when Jason drank so much and ended up being so paranoid over the slightest issue (it reminds me of Desmond. HAHAHA!). After Grapevine on the 18th, we had a little chat over at Xin Wang @ Kovan, and cabbed home when the rain started pouring heavily.

On the 19th, I made a big mistake. A very big mistake that had me to be in this situation now. I hate myself for being that way that night. You know alcohol don't do you good. We had 4 jugs of Long Island Tea, 1 Rum Coke (i think), and 8 Sex on the Beach. All these made me grumpy and I ended myself in a whole load of shits!

I have to thank Shuling for being there at that moment in time,
Law to be there to cool me down,
Javier to be so worried but my phone died on me,
and Zac to call me the next day.
Sincerely thankful!

On the 19th, I dragged Gab down to town with me for lunch/dinner and some emo walk along town. Thank you for your company! Took bus 7 to Singapore's Botanical Garden to meet up with dad, and drove me to Changi Airport to pick brother up, as he returned from Bangkok. Wan Toh Seh @ Geylang for supper. And home at 2am!

On the 20th, I had lesson till 4pm and then sneaked into the FYP lab to wait for the rest to finish their stuff. Town for dinner with them and shopped around.

Today, before lesson, I met SoonWee at AMK Hub to cancel my card at DBS, and lunch. School for tutorial at 1pm. Wei Shan accompanied me to SSDC to get my PDL. Practical starting this coming Monday! So excited. :) I wanna be busyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Goal: To get my Class 3 before September!

I haven't been doing good. And this feeling always hit me when I failed achieving what I want. It's unbelievable how people come and go in a blink of an eye. And it definitely makes me wonder how feelings get so uncontrollable. Wells, answer is pretty obvious by now. I should be looking forward, instead.

I just realized how silly/stubborn I have been throughout these 19 years, or almost 20 years.

10mins ago, Shuling just left my place. Had a wonderful day with her! :)

Went to Shao Mu with my family & relatives from 2pm to 4pm. My brother drove to pick Shuling up from her place and we went to Malaysia! Dinner at Sentosa, shopped around and head back to Singapore at 9pm. Came home and watch some of the DVDs we bought. We have finish both Juno, as well as Good Luck Chunk! They are goooooooood! Should catch these if you have not! :)

I'm gonna continue the other DVDs myself. HAHAHA!

A piece of good news to share!
After so long, I have finally passed all the theory tests for driving. I'm overjoyed! Now, i will save up for my practicals & traffic police test. :)

Note to self: Strict diet & save money!

I had a good dinner at Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar with the guys last Friday. The food was good & prices are reasonable. The queue was long, but fast moving. Worth trying! I'll go back there for their food soon! :)

After dinner, we chilled at Esplanade for awhile and headed back to City Hall station at 10pm.

I went down to Sembawang to meet Gab. We went Bottle Tree Village for overnight fishing! Gab's friend drove in and we went to look for Alvin, Precilla, her sister, Jocelyn and her boyfriend. Even though we didn't concentrate on fishing, we had a good time chilling out and laughing at very random stuffs. Gab's friend gave me a lift home at around 4am.

On Saturday, it was town with Huiling. Lunch at Cahaya and looked for presents for her friend. Hwee came down after his work, and Shuling joined us for dinner at Sakae Teppanyaki (like.. AGAIN! I told you we were craving for more. HAHAHA!). Zouk with Shuling aftermath. It was good. For a good 3 hours or so, nothing came between us. Just happiness! :)

We partied till 4am! Cabbed home, and showered. I couldn't catch a short rest. Prepared and headed down to City Hall to meet up with the peeps. Made our way down to Changi Airport to send our mates off to Beijing.

I hope they're still coping well over there. :)

I entered Malaysia on Tuesday with Gab & classmates for a movie at City Square's Cathay. Caught Death Sentence, it was good, but with some disturbing scenes. Anyway, we just paid RM6 for the movie. Dirt cheap! :) After which, we chilled at a coffee shop and then proceed to have our dinner along a back alley. The uncles there still do remember us, surprisingly! Return back to Singapore at around 7pm.

Will be having a tiring weekend ahead. Work, work, work! I will be back to update this space after the weekends. :)

I met up with Ern&Jon last Tuesday. Just chilling at Chomp, and Coffee Bean. Ern & I was waiting for our results to be released at 12am. Tried connecting to the wireless at Coffee Bean, but it couldn't work. Gave up and hurried home to check our results.

Overall, not that badly done! I was afraid that I have to retake SENGP! Luckily I did alright for that. :) The rest wasn't that bad, but could have done better though.

The next day, I went for a swim & tan with Pauline at Bishan, and dinner with Dad at the nearby coffee shop. Curry fish head was goooood! :)

I headed down to Sentosa with Huiling&Hwee straight from the chalet. After we settled down at an area, their friends joined us, Matthew & JunJie. Then, Yumin came down to join us too after his fitting in town.

The sky became dark! Huiling was so funny that she couldn't believe that, 'cos she wants a tan badly. So, she applied tanning lotion despite the dark sky! At least, she had a feel of going down to Sentosa! HAHAHA.

It became very bad that we decided to go for a movie. Caught The Orphanage at The Cathay. While waiting for the movie to start, we had around 2 hours to spare. Had dinner over at Plaza Singapura - Sakae Teppanyaki & Sushi. We're craving for more now! :)

After the movie, they didn't want to go home. Walk over to Selegie, hoping to have soya bean, but it was closing when we reached. Crazy people with crazy ideas! We walked over to Cineleisure's for Wii!

On the 24th, tanning & swimming at Bishan with Huiling! And we bumped into Pauline at the pool. Laughed like crazy!

Hwee's place to chill, and I fell alseep there. Too tired after being under the sun the whole afternoon.

I still don't like Shisha! Maybe it's due to the fact that i'm not a smoker and don't know the right way to smoke. When I suck it in, I almost choke. We had Grape flavor! And it taste like CHAO TA grape. :(

They have nice main courses there, but their desert failed. The fresh cream caramel taste like KUEH!

Went over to Plaza Singapura to meet up with Gab/Indran/Christiane. Had a drink over at Timber, before we went to Gab's to chill till 3am! Supper at Serangoon Central Mac and took a cab home with Christaine.

Bingxi's leaving for Beijing for Overseas Project this Sunday! :(

I'll just keep this short.

For the past few weekends, I have been working. On 7th to 9th, I was deployed to AMK Hub, and on 14th to 16th, to Tampines Mall. These 2 roadshows was good! Nice people & time pass by really fast.

I hate Wednesdays now! Really, I do. I won't let history repeats itself again. Never.
Sprained my ankle as well. :(

Anyhows, I met P on Thursday. It was good to see P again!
Weekdays have never been so good. I will look forward to more weekdays, rather than weekends. :)

Then, on Friday after half day of work, all of us had to go for product training at Roger's place. It only ended at 10:30pm. Headed to Lunar to meet other promoters from AMK Hub. Good company, but the night ended rather badly. In fact, very badly! (Sigh, really sorry.)

I was asked to join the Wesley, KeJia & Shuling for Chocolate Fondue at Hagen Daz, near Siglap Centre. My first time tasting that, and it wasn't what I expected. The chocolate wasn't sweet enough. It was more like dark chocolate! I still prefer the one from Icekimo. Eric joined us too! Then, Eric & I went to catch Rule #1 at Plaza Singapura. There're some disturbing scenes, and the storyline it bad!

Today, before work ended, Azmi & Razi came down. They surprised me a little, lying to me that they were at Mustafa and then I saw them walking pass me. Haha! Running up & down to get sales report. The rest headed for supper, while I went to look for Azmi & Razi and head to Yani's place. Prata house for dinner, massage from Yani's dad (because of Azmi & my sprained ankles) and home sweet home.

I really have to tonn down my habit. It's really becoming a bad habit & my body is immune to it already. BAD BAD BAD!

Tmr will be a good start, I hope.
